    Default Miken NRG

Has anyone swung this bat yet? I have seen bothe the balenced and maxload and they are both sic. I seen a friend of mine hit one of the farthest homeruns off of the 27oz balenced version. We have a couple of the kodiacks on our tuesday night team and one of them had the maxload. First hit out of the wrapper was a long shot to left field that left in a hurry. Looking for more input.

By off the fence, he means the one behind the plate. LOL

I had a NRG 500 Maxload. The pop and distance were good and the SS was pretty forgiving, but I didn't like the mushy feel of the bat on contact...ended up getting rid of it. If you prefer a solid feel to a bat, you might want to look elsewhere. For me it just came down to personal preference on "feel", but the performance is right there with any top ASA bat. I haven't swung the 600.

I got a package deal off of ebay. I bought the Red NRG and the new Titanium Miken BOTH are SIC out of the wrapper. I used the titanium more than the NRG but like them both. If you like the freak you'll like the NRG. The bat does not have the stiff hitting FEELING like the other guy said but has major pop. No complaints here..

    Default nrg

I am the manager of the kodiaks and dennis has the maxload. I don't understand why but even he doesn't swing it, he swings another guys jeff hall USSSA bat (the red mayhem). This weekend I swung the nrg once just to see why he didnt swing his own bat, got under it so I didnt get a feel for it. I then quickly forgot about it and didnt swing it again. but if you are looking for the best pop on a U-Trip only bat try the jeff hall mayhem (the red one). that thing has amazing pop off of it out of the wrapper. It got a rattle within a week but doesnt seem to affect the pop a bit. I won't be able to swing the NRG this weekend because we are playing in the tree frog which is asa. As soon as I can I will try to swing it and report back.
