Lets say a player was on the "A" list for 2007, but played "B" the whole year....Would this player be on the "A" or "B" list for 2008?

I would guess the B list, but I don't know what the criteria is for the player list.

My guess would be the "B" list also. But the list they've had on here isn't close to being accurate, I know alot of players that should've been on one list or the other and wasn't on any. Alot fell through the cracks. And a few on the list didn't even play last year. Oh well just my opinion it5'll take alot of work to get it right. But I say why make our area be held to it and not the entire country? Or even the Great Lakes at that!

A player that is on the "A" list is considered an "A" player, however he is still able ot play on "B", or "C" teams. A team can have four guys from the level above what they as a team sanction. A player that drops 2 levels counts as two. For instance if a USSSA "C" team has 2 players from the "B" list and one player from the "A" list that equals 4. The "A" player counts as 2, and both B players count as one each. Therefore the rest of that team would have to be "C" level players or lower. If that same "C" team did not have any "A" list players, then they could have up to 4 total "B" listed players on their roster.......Does this help?

Looking back, I guess I did not answer your original question: The Cincy Committee will meet again and go over the list, once they fine tune it, then that will be the official list for the upcoming season. This list will be reviewed once a year and changes will be made as they are needed. So, if a player is voted on the "A" list at the meeting next month, but he played "B" all year long, then he is still considered an "A" list player. Keep in mind that the National rule still trumps any local list, so if a player was on a "C" team that is being bumped up to "B" this year, that team could not play "C" this year just because they meet the requirements set forth by the players list. They must follow national move up rules.....let me know if you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them
