John Earls Award
The following is a history of the John Earls Award. This award represents the better aspects of the game. Things like friendships, loyalty, sportsmanship and honor. It’s not just based on talent. It’s what you do for the game – what you give back to the game. The award is presented during the annual Cincinnati Metro tournament opening ceremonies.

2005 – Gary Macke – Player. Donated a kidney to a co-worker losing a season of softball
2004 – Jack Erp – Long time manager
2003 – Jim Del Monaco – Former manager of Pastime Park from 1981 – 2002, Manager
